Hello everyone!  This was a pretty quiet week.  Not much activity since the holiday week.  We just did service on Monday and then believe it or not...we did street witnessing on Thursday morning in our town, Palavas, right on the sea.  It was a gorgeous day - sunny and people walking around on the beach before they celebrated their holiday.  It was real nice.  The rest of the week we just chilled and enjoyed living on the sea!  I even made a little video walking on the sea....check it out below.

Yesterday we had a nice group in the city for service.  So did some street witnessing.  There were so many people out and about.  I met a nice lady from New York that moved here.  She said she was not real interested but we exchanged numbers and at least we can continue our conversation and see where it goes...  Today after meeting, we had a going away party for a sister that is moving to Ireland.  It was fun.  We had food and drinks (of course, no witness gathering is without that) and played games.  It is great to see everyone involved (old and young) playing games together...see the pictures.

Tomorrow we start back on our regular service week after a week of too much relaxing.  Hope you are all getting back to your normal lives after a week couped up in your homes from the snow storm.  Speaking of which, thanks to those that sent me snow pictures...it was nice to see home all covered in white!

Melita and Jake have sent their greetings from Tanzania.  Below is a message from them and a couple pictures.

Have a great week.  Miss you and love you.

  1. Checking your website is one of the highlights of my week. Thanks ever so much for keeping us in the loop. I could not make the beach video work but the individual pictures were great to view. I am happy that the snow is finally gone. Gained ten pounds just sitting in the apartment and eating. Did lots of studying and all that brain work just made me hungrier. Alex is doing great and attending all the meetings. I pray for his continued efforts to repair his relationship with Jehovah. It is pouring down rain today. Your weather is beautiful.
We love and miss you both.
